The year of affirmation
The terroir’s sensibility allows for gradual adjustments. This dry year, without rainfall from January to July, revealed the strength of the clay soils, which retained welcomed moisture. As a result, the grapes were saved from the drought, and ended up producing highly elegant wines, with plenty of finesse. This was a touch and go vintage, that has blossomed with age.
