The year of benediction

Grandiose!

This exceptional year offered ideal conditions from A to Z, crossing the finishing line under the best auspices. Rigor engendered simplicity: mother nature let time do its job, thereby providing absolutely perfect grapes. This is a well infused vintage with silky tannins, and devoid of exaggeration. Over maturity gives way to smooth elegance, intense floral aromas and charisma.

"Nose of liqueur of blueberry and spices, elegant and refined mouth with behind a fruit that returns well, and finally of the grace, this wine will gain in refinement with the wire of the breeding.

"A very beautiful color, this wine expresses a frank ripeness of fruit and a fine woodiness." The mouth is generous, gourmand with a very sincere fruity and is distinguished by an elegant structure and a fine extraction. Comes from new wood, like 55% of the final assembly."

" Bought by Olivier Decelle in 2004 ( Mas Amiel). Next to cheval Blanc but needed recuperation. 50% Cabernet Franc. Very sweet start with fine delineation and with very much its own character. Terroir speaks more than oenologist. Subtie and very fresh but not forced. Lots there. A second note reads!: light and fresh. Very much unforced sweet and racy wine. Transparent and with apparently less tannin than most Deroncourt 2010s. "
